Founders journey between France & CEE

The Spark of Collaboration
In early February 2024, Romain Rebour and Sébastien Jedrej, two seasoned French entrepreneurs residing in Poland, met to exchange their insights and visions. Both recognized the burgeoning potential of the Polish and broader Central and Eastern European (CEE) tech ecosystems, noting the remarkable growth and abundance of promising projects. Yet, they observed a persistent lack of awareness in France regarding the opportunities within this region.

Identifying the Gap
Motivated to delve deeper into this disparity, Romain and Sébastien embarked on a journey to understand the underlying reasons and identify avenues to bridge these two markets. After months of research and discussions with key stakeholders, it became evident that while CEE possessed innovative ideas and technological prowess, there was a notable shortage of capital, particularly for early-stage startups.

Building Bridges
With this revelation in mind, they set out to construct a bridge that would facilitate connections between venture capital entities in France and CEE, fostering co-investment in promising ventures identified within the CEE region, starting with Poland.

Vision for the Future
Their ultimate aim? To extend this initiative to support French startups and, within a year's time, establish their own investment fund dedicated to fostering collaboration between France and CEE.
